Lonsdale Boxing
The brief
To combat a lapse in focus and a spate negative publicity in Europe over the last several years Furore were commissioned to develop a brand advertising campaign designed to generate goodwill towards the brand and realign it with its rich boxing heritage.
Our approach
As a brand that is inherently British and which has been intrinsically associated sport of boxing for nearly fifty years, our approach was to combine strong boxing-related imagery with the union Jack in a contemporary, urban and gritty style.
Deliverables
A series of print advertisements and retail display materials for use globally.
Outcome
Having strengthened Lonsdale ’Ůs associations with the sport of boxing the brand has since been taken up by specialist boxing retailers and is being worn by professional and amateur boxers as well as boxing enthusiasts Worldwide. As a result of the campaign ’Ůs success Furore have since been approached to plan and design the upcoming global website for the brand.
